Customize Blogger Template

Wow there are many blogger templates that provide.... you can find it from Google with key "free blogger templates". Just Copy and Paste it, that so simple.

Now how can we change the template???
First Log in to your Blogger and the click Layout Tab then choose Edit HTML, before you change it back up your current template, include your code like AdSense, BlogCatalog, LinkReferral, etc..... Now find your template and then download it, the extension is .XML, open it with simple editor. After that copy it then Paste it, don't forget to check "Expand Widget Templates". Save Templates..... Now you can see the result by refreshing your blog.........

Windows VS Linux ?????

This year windows will be launch Windows server 2008, i don't know what the different from the previous but i don't care about it, you can see Office 2007 and Office 2003, there are so much different from the layout. I think they don't have any idea to developing Office again. If you're first time use Office 2007, you will be confused just by viewing the layout.

This is just my opinion, maybe Microsoft try to change the behavior of people, like put some item in the different place than previous. Now about License especially for Internet cafe, in Indonesia there are license for Internet cafe, MSRA(Microsoft Software Rental Agreement), there are a point that confusing, if there are software investigation, the Microsoft will be not guarantee about the legality software wew....... i hate it....

Now forget about windows, let's talk about Linux. there are hundred variant for Linux, that's depend from the user. If they want Linux for gaming, they can use Linux with a good VGA, but if user want OS just for browsing, chatting they can use Linux with a simple desktop. For Internet Cafe, there are many Linux variant, i recommended to use Zencafe, that's generated from Slackware, the desktop using xfce that is lighter than KDE and Gnome so it's compatible with PII. Office???? you can use Open Office. How 'bout billing??? you can use ccl that include it. So now you can choose your OS for personal or for rental...... I'm sure about 5 or 10 years later Linux will be user friendly like now.

Maybe you're so tired to read a blog that have a long article :) now you can cut your article and give "Read More" link, so now you just can add your first paragraph only and your blog homepage not to long........

ok before i begin, you can see this topic in blogger help.

• First you must login into blogger, then fill "Layout" tab and click "Edit HTML", check "Expand Widget Templates".Then insert this code between tag </head> and tag </b:skin> like this

Using Squid 3.0 under Linux to Blocking some website!!!

If you want to block some website you must use proxy to block it. OK let's try it now, i used Linux OS(zencafe), squid 3.0, and snack :D

First download the squid from the official website, then extract it (ex:/home/admin/) now go to the directory where you extract squid you should login with root then type "./configure --prefix=/usr/local/squid" from console/terminal wait............ After that type "make all" now you can relax and eat your snack :D if that step finish type "make install" to install squid.

OK next step is configure file squid.conf,
There are 3 ways to block website
1. block using domain ex:www.playboy.com
2. block using keyword ex:porn, sex
3. block using IP Address.

ok i'll just explain the first way. copy file squid.conf into home directory, and change the permission. login using root via terminal/console type "cp /usr/local/squid/etc/squid.conf /home/admin/" then type "chmod 777 /home/admin/squid.conf" edit that file using editor, find "http_access deny all" without # sign. Change it to "http_access allow all". now "type acl step-1 dstdomain "/usr/local/squid/etc/block-site"
http_access deny cara-1"
nb:using quote for dstdomain "...."

put that before "http_access allow localnet" and "http_access allow all". save it now.
next is make file "block-site" and add the site.
nb:

• don't use comma for multiple site
• just one row per site

save it in /home/admin/. now copy that files into squid directory. Use "cp /home/admin/squid.conf /usr/local/squid/etc/" and "cp /home/admin/block-site /usr/local/squid/etc/"
Ok now type "/usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -z" using root access. Upsss..... there some error. Change the permission folder with "chmod -R 777 /usr/local/squid/var/". type that command again. after that type "/usr/local/squid/sbin/squid" to run it. Finish..... ..............not yet

Open your browser(i'm use firefox for linux) click Edit -> Preferences choose Advanced then choose tab Network then click Setting check "Manual Proxy Configuration" add 127.0.0.1 Port 3128 check "Use this proxy server.......". Then try it now........ Finish................................

nb:restart your browser to take the effect......

Tips to UNBLOCK for downloading files

someday, you want to browsing in Internet cafe, you bring your flash and hope that you can download some mp3 file. After that you find your link that you want to download, the extension file is mp3, after you click you've got an "Access Denied" page :(( AAArrrgggghhhh!!!!! "i can't download my favorite song".

Now you can open new tab in your fave browser"FireFox" and open Google, you can write the key with "free web proxy" click search and then Wuzzzzzzzz....... there are so many web proxy shown...... get one and open it.

now copy your source link with mp3 extension then paste into the web proxy box and click go/surf/browse,etc......... see the result..... now you can download all files that you want so freedom for your life :)) ha..ha..ha....haaaaa.......
